Saint Paul Park is a city in Washington County, Minnesota. It is located on the edge of the Mississippi River about five miles downstream from Minnesota's capital city of St. Paul. The Village of St. Paul Park was incorporated with about 1,300 acres in 1888 and today as a city, it is not much bigger at about 1,800 acres. It has a unique system of eight carefully planned parks for all walks of life. In addition to trails and playfields, for example, there is a park for toddlers, one for teenagers and young adults, one for family reunions, and one that is fully handicapped accessible.
Saint Paul Park is a pleasant residential community with a population of about 5,271 as of July 2006. St. Paul Park MN has grown slowly for most of its history, with more changes recently, but the city has managed to retain its small-town feel throughout its growth.
