This neighborhood is named after legendary explorer Pierre Bottineau, who bought land in this location in 1845. Bottineau may be a small neighborhood of just over 1,200 residents people, but the culture runs deep. Its long history of settlement has resulted in a very diverse mix of ethnicities and classes of people today.
