Como Minneapolis Real Estate

Como is in the northeastern University Community of Minneapolis. It’s bounded by 33rd Avenue SE, Elm Street, Interstate 35W, the Burlington Northern main line, East Hennepin Avenue and Winter Street NE. Como took its name from nearby Lake Como in St. Paul, which was named after a popular lake in northern Italy.

The Como neighborhood is largely residential, though it does have some small retail and stores, as well as the Dinkytown commercial area being just one mile away. The residential area has much to do, within its boundaries and the surrounding areas. The Minneapolis Chain of Lakes is minutes away as is Downtown Minneapolis.

This thriving residential area is full of energy year-round and is close to the heart of Minneapolis while remaining a relatively quiet suburban feeling neighborhood.
