Cooper is a neighborhood located in southeastern Minneapolis and is a member of the greater Longfellow community. The neighborhood is surrounded by the 27th street railroad tracks, 34th Street East, 38th Avenue South and the Mississippi River. Cooper is named after James Fenimore Cooper, a 19th century American novelist.

This neighborhood is primarily residential and is well-known for its Bungalows. These homes have plenty of variety and are not all the same by any means. The neighborhood has beautiful streets that are lined with trees and homes filled with character. Cooper also has gorgeous parks for residents with plenty of amenities.

Lake Street is Cooper's primary commercial district. It offers residents access to many unique shops and places to eat. Downtown Minneapolis is only minutes away giving residents even more options for shopping, dining and entertainment.
