Corcoran Minneapolis Real Estate

Corcoran is a neighborhood in the Powderhorn Community of Minneapolis. Its borders are Lake Street East, Cedar Avenue South, 36th Street East and Hiawatha Avenue. The area is named after William Wilson Corcoran, founder of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.

Corcoran is a mainly residential neighborhood centered on Corcoran Park, the smallest park in the Minneapolis park system. Despite its small size, Corcoran Park is a beloved member of the community and gives residents an escape from the urban landscape. The residents are active in keeping this park as beautiful as the day they found it.

The residential neighborhood has an active community full of residents who are passionate about their community. The neighborhood is close to Downtown Minneapolis and easily connects to that area and the whole of the Twin Cities via the light rail system. This area is very pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
