Kenwood Minneapolis Real Estate

Kenwood is a neighborhood located in the Calhoun-Isles Community of Minneapolis. The area is bounded by Kenilworth Place and Lake of the Isles to the south, Cedar Lake Park on the west and north, Kenwood Parkway on the north and West Lake of the Isles on the east.

The neighborhood likely received its name from the developer that platted the 95-acre subdivision that eventually became what we now know as Kenwood. Stunning views and easy access to lakes and parks contribute to making Kenwood one of the most admired communities in Minneapolis. Kenwood shares Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake with the neighboring community of Cedar-Isles-Dean. This area contains many open spaces including the lakes, parks and trails. Kenwood Park is one of Minneapolis' most popular parks.

The neighborhood has many wonderful amenities that residents have come to love within its limits; however, even aside from that, Downtown Minneapolis and all its shopping, dining and entertainment are only minutes away from Kenwood!
