Kingfield is a neighborhood the Southwest Community of Minneapolis. It is bounded by Lyndale Avenue, Interstate 35W, 36th Street, and 46th Street. Kingfield is named after Colonel William S. King, who lived in Minneapolis in the 19th century and was active in the anti-slavery movement.

The Kingfield neighborhood is a thriving inner city neighborhood with a diverse populace. Its flourishing commercial base includes grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. The neighborhood is largely residential with most of the homes being single-family properties. The streets have trees lining them which gives this area a very warming feel.
