The homes here are modestly priced and sized, and for the most part are Craftsman style homes. The Linden Trees in the area are like the cherry on top of the sundae that is this neighborhood.

A reasonable walk from Linden Hills' shopping district at 43rd and Upton are both Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun. One can swim, kayak, sail, have a picnic in the park, enjoy a walk or bike along paths connected to the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway at either lake.
