Lynnhurst Minneapolis Real Estate
Lynnhurst is a neighborhood in the Southwest Community of Minneapolis. It is bounded by 46th Street, Penn Avenue, Lyndale Avenue, and 54th Street. The neighborhood gets its namesake for its role in the Lynnhurst Planning District. The name also stems from the neighborhood's bounty of Linden Trees.
This neighborhood is setup on the southeastern end of Lake Harriet, which offers not only breathtaking views year-round, but a myriad of outdoor activities. Minnehaha Creek also runs through Lynhurst, another fun aspect to this urban neighborhood.
Despite this urban designation, Lynnhurst feels like a suburban area with plenty of mature trees, wide streets and character homes. The homes in this neighborhood are mostly single-family establishments, with the architectural styles ranging from Arts and Crafts to Colonial to Tudor to Period Revival homes.
Lynnhurst has a great community and a lot of wonderful homes worth looking into.
