The southeast Minneapolis neighborhood of Page is a member of the greater Nokomis Community. The neighborhood is surrounded by Minnehaha Creek, Chicago Avenue, Interstate 35W, 55th Street and Diamond Lake Road. The district is named to honor Walter Hines Page, a famous American diplomat.
Page is a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood. The neighborhood is served by the beautiful Lake Nokomis, a lake that offers many outdoor recreation opportunities. The neighborhood also has Diamond Lake and Minnehaha Creek within its limits, as well as many spacious parks that help break up the urban landscape. Page is so close to the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes which is one of Minnesota's best outdoor areas.
Page is also in close proximity to the MSP Airport, the energetic and thriving Uptown area and is still only minutes away from Downtown Minneapolis and all it has to offer.
This area is mostly residential and most of the homes here are single-family properties. The most prominent architectural styles in Page are Ramblers, Tudors and Colonials.
