Victory Minneapolis Real Estate

Victory is a neighborhood in the Camden Community of northern Minneapolis. This district is bordered by Newton Avenue and Penn Avenue, Xerxes Avenue on the west, Dowling Avenue and the Humboldt Industrial Area. Victory gets its name from the Victory Memorial, which honors World War I soldiers.

The people living here enjoy a variety of amenities, not the least of which is an easy commute to Downtown Minneapolis. Victory has many great eclectic places to eat and shop, but its proximity to the downtown area, only fives miles away, gives the neighborhood even more to consider in terms of dining, shopping and entertainment.

Victory has many great features, one of which is Memorial Parkway, a wonderful tree-lined causeway for bikers, walkers, and skaters. The neighborhood is also home to Ryan Lake, a beautiful area for residents to retreat to fish or swim during the Minnesota summer months.

Most of the residential properties in Victory are single-family homes. The styles include Craftsman and Tudors constructed in the 1920s and 1930s and more modern homes built in the past few decades. The older homes have plenty of historic character and charm, but have been updated when needed to fit the needs of today's buyer.
